Brazilian Accessories Label Returns to Its Musical Roots with Rockstar Inspired Collection

Chilli Beans is thrilled to announce the arrival of its new Rock Fellas collection – a unique capsule collection of statement-making eyewear and watches exclusively licensed in partnership with two of the biggest legends in rock music, The Ramones and Amy Winehouse. With a highly limited number of pieces being released nationwide, the exclusive collection will have a retail starting point of $65 and will premier on August 10, 2015 at Chilli Beans eight US retail locations and online at chillibeans.com.

The Brazilian label, which is the largest sunglass retailer in Latin America and known for its fun, quirky and affordable styles, is excited to launch a collection devoted entirely to the rock n’ roll passion which the brand was found upon. Sixteen years ago founder Caito Maia gave up his dream of becoming a rockstar and created Chilli Beans with the goal of having a fashion label deeply entwined in the music world. With the Ramones playing a vast role of inspiration in the young musician’s life, Caito was thrilled with the opportunity to develop The Ramones line which features the band’s iconic logo throughout and products like a watch with a dial that was replicated from a vinyl record player and eyewear styles with leather and denim details synonymous with groups style.

The Amy Winehouse pieces were developed to pay homage to the young British star and to coincide with the release of her documentary. Here you’ll find styles that pay tribute to some of the artists’ greatest hits like “Rehab” and “Back to Black” along with cat-eye optical lenses with a vintage feeling that were a signature staple of the winged eyeliner music sensation.
