DJ & On Air Personality Courtney Janell Joins Atlanta Radio Station 107.9FM

Popular DJ and budding on air personality Courtney Janell joins Atlanta hit radio station 107.9FM, co-hosting late nights from 2AM – 6AM.

Her name became popular in the Hip Hop community when former boyfriend, rapper Drake, referenced her name in his song “From Time”. Already a working model, Courtney had a passion for music and began studying the art of spinning records

“I’ve always been a lover of good music and wanting to be in the spotlight. I was constantly surrounding myself around the who’s who in the industry including rappers, DJ’s, club promoters, radio personalities etc. People always told me I had the personality to be a emcee. So I started there first, built up a rapport with a few OG DJ’s who took me under their wing. It was so natural, the transition for me becoming a DJ.”

Courtney can now be heard on the late night shift in Atlanta on radio station 107.9FM. She joins host John Marshall at ‘#TheNightShow’ airing Sunday thru Wednesday from 2am – 6am. ‘#TheNightShow’ is the first completely interactive radio program that merges Twitter, Instagram, SnapChat, Facebook, Vine, Periscope & UStream each night. Listeners will hear Courtney spill the tea as she dishes on gossip and trending topics as well as joining her co-hosts in pop culture related conversations.
