ApolloNightLA (@ApolloNightLA) is one of the key outlets for unsigned artists to show the world what they can do and how hard they are willing to grind for success. This ApolloNightLA Artist of the Week, Kraey nee KeShon Jamal Marbley is one of the trench soldiers being introduced to the world via the platform. Every Monday night at 7pm PT, the crew sits and hears for the very first time, new joints from unsigned artists…the artist who grinds the hardest to promo their track’s appearance on the show gets the win.

From the outside looking in , I am Kraey . Who am I ? Kraey is one the dopest Hip-Hop Artist right now at the prime age of 23. Mr. Breakin It OR Mr. Lets Just Throw A Party.

What brought you to the industry?

What brought me to the industry is my talent that I have since a young boy. I was destined to do this everyday my life consist of music and this will soon be my Full Time Job As Dreamed , Hoped , Planned & Worked For.

What’s in the works for Kraey?

Well I have my two projects Breakin It By Kraey on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, IHeartRadio , etc…Moreover, my current project is Party Prod. by Ismbeats available on YouTube. But, for ApolloNightLA, I submitted the exclusive single Fell Asleep which has not yet been released to the global univers. In my words, I might re-record the song a bit. To be honest it is a CONTROVERSIAL DISS toward whack dj’s. That speaks for itself. But why fall asleep when you can party?

If you had to pick an introductory song from your body of work for a first time listener, what would it be?

For new listeners the song I would use to represent me is my latest project Party Prod. by Ismbeats this song is a BANGER!! This song will have everybody partying around the world no matter your skin color, your music genre, whatever etc… I’m just doin me & you just doin you!

Last but not least, The Hype Magazine wants to know what’s your craziest “Where they do that at?!” moment thus far.

My where they do that at moment is seeing a performer clear out the entire club while performing his set. Due to the fact that his set was not entertaining, the crowd one by one cleared the building. #WhereTheyDOThatAt
