Guinness Book’s ‘Most Followed Account’ title holder King Bach to host 6th annual Streamy Awards

King Bach is the biggest Viner in the world according to the Guinness Book of World Records who list him as title holder to “Most Followed Account.” The finalists for the Audience Choice (ie. fan voted) Awards – “Entertainer of the Year” and “Show of the Year” – were also announced, as were some of this year’s presenters.

The finalists for the Audience Choice Awards, “Entertainer of the Year” and “Show of the Year” were also announced on the same day. The annual awards show, which honors the best in online video and the creators behind it, will take place on Tuesday, October 4, 2016at 9PM ET / 6PM PT from The Beverly Hilton.
Andrew Bachelor, better known by his online personality “King Bach,” is a Canadian-born American actor, comedian, director, producer and writer. A Guinness Book World Record-holder for the most followed account on Vine, King Bach has more than 15 million subscribers and 5 billion views on the platform and won the inaugural “Viner” award at last year’s Streamy Awards. In addition to his own production company, Bach Enterprises, Bach has had recurring roles on numerous television shows, including House of Lies (Showtime), Mindy Project (FOX), Black Jesus (Adult Swim), Punk’d (BET) and Resident Advisors (Hulu). He will next be seen starring in the upcoming independent films Where’s the Money and When We First Met.

Fans can vote online for “Entertainer of the Year” and “Show of the Year” until 11:59:59am PT the day of the Streamy Awards, Tuesday, October 4. Fans can cast their vote at streamys.org/vote and/oron Twitter by including the nominee’s name, any form of the word “vote” (ex: vote, voting, voted) AND #streamys in their Tweets. Fans can vote up to 100 times per day on both streamys.org and Twitter. The winners of both categories will be announced at the live show.
