Marc E. Bassy Announces “groovy People” Tour

As his new Groovy People EP [BPG/Republic Records] continues to heat up, MARC E. BASSY announces the dates for his North American “Groovy People Tour” with DJ Shabazz and special guests. It kicks off November 6 in Atlanta, GA at Vinyl @ Center Stage, performs in major markets coast to coast, and closes out a month later December 7 at Velvet Jones in Santa Barbara, CA. Tickets are on sale now HERE (http://www.marcebassy.com/) . The final confirmed itinerary can be found below.

Groovy People has been making big waves online. Not only did it debut in the Top 15 of iTunes Top Pop Albums Chart, but its lead single “You & Me” [feat. G-Eazy] has amassed over 75 million Spotify streams and counting and 8 million-plus YouTube/VEVO views. Moreover, the song soared to the Top 10 of Rhythm Radio, placed in the Top 30 Tracks at Spotify Globally, and went Top 10 on Pandora’s Hit Predictor Chart.

Beyond “You & Me,” Groovy People illuminates every facet of BASSY. From the sultry slow build and simmering guitar solo of “Subway Car” to the emotional and confessional “Last One I Love,” it’s a diverse collection that seamlessly merges soul, pop and hip-hop.

Critics continue to shower BASSY with praise. To date, Complex (http://www.complex.com/music/2016/05/marc-e-bassy-new-song-premiere-feat-g-eazy-you-and-me) , UPROXX (http://uproxx.com/realtalk/marc-e-bassy-g-eazy-you-and-me-new-video/) , HotNewHipHop (http://www.hotnewhiphop.com/marc-e-bassy-you-and-me-feat-g-eazy-new-song.1969652.html) , and more have all given their stamp of approval to “You & Me.”

BASSY spent the beginning of 2016 performing to sold out crowds on the When It’s Dark Out Tour headlined by G-Eazy and A$AP Ferg. Meanwhile, his acclaimed mixtape East Hollywood generated a palpable buzz last year. Its centerpiece “Some Things Never Change” has racked up over 527K-plus Soundcloud plays alone. He’s also received coverage from Billboard, Complex, Spin and more. BASSY has written and collaborated with some of the brightest stars in music such as: Kehlani, Ty Dolla $ign, G-Eazy, Charlie Puth, Wiz Khalifa, Prince Royce.
