December 2nd-4th RocNation’s Chase J, I Beat Daily and Rednation will be hosting an intensive weekend Writer’s Retreat for aspiring Songwriters at a sprawling 5,200 square foot Cabin in North Georgia’s Blue Ridge Mountains.

Songwriters will embark on 3 days of interactive learning in the areas of songwriting, recording, and music business.

Each day will consist of creative writing challenges with fun prizes, talks from label A&Rs, Performance Rights Organization representatives, Music Publishers, Recording Artists, and co-writing Recording sessions

PenGame creates an intensive learning experience for upcoming songwriters that will teach them the tools needed to take their music to the next level.

The Retreat begins with the Master Class taught by Chase J covering Songwriting 101, including but not limited to:

Selecting A Track

Concept

Melody

Lyrics

Vocal Production

With input from additional special guest Industry Professionals, the Retreat will also include information on more advanced topics such as PROs, Split Sheets, Royalties, Management, and more!

Writers will get to flex their Pens individually with daily ‘Quick Pen Challenges” as well as collectively during the co-writing sessions.

During the co-writing sessions the writers will be broken into small groups where they will be tasked with creating an original record. Based on the ‘Talk’ given by the guest Industry professional
