Rick Monroe “This Side Of You”
Nashville, TN @rickmonroe‘s newest single, the sultry “This Side Of You,” is impacting radio now, and popular website Taste Of Country will premiere the track today. “This Side Of You” is the first release from his much-anticipated upcoming EP, GYPSY SOUL.
Written by Monroe and pals Jason Duke and Ryan Griffin, “This Side Of You” was inspired by a recent trip taken by Griffin and his wife. Generally reserved, Ryan’s wife let the wine “win out” and let loose on that vacation. Monroe recalls, “We were just chatting before our writing session, and when Ryan said that he’d never seen that side of his wife before, I knew we had a great hook!” Duke and Griffin are the hit makers behind Kelsea Ballerina’s smash, “Dibs.”
The groove-based tune features guest artist Kristen Rogers (of A Thousand Horses), and it is resonating with both male and female listeners. “It’s going over great at my live shows,” notes Rick. “It gets everyone out on the dance floor, that’s for sure.”
