J. Eliyae kicks the 2nd quarter into high gear with new single, “Start It Up”

Savvy is not the only thing that comes from growing up in New York; the multifaceted J. Eliyae was also gifted with many talents. Being raised in a musically influenced family J. Eliyae was promised to be an artist from birth. J. Eliyae was one of the popular kids in high school because of his dance crew, which he created with friends that turned into anticipation from the entire school wondering what would be their next move.

All of his early creative endeavors fostered his genius, which has been revealed in adulthood. J. Eliyae’s Soundcloud has over one million streams, and his YouTube channel has generated quite the following.    He has studied the legendary Michael Jackson, paying close attention to how the megastar incorporated his dancing into the visuals which accompanied his music.  Those notes have motivated J. Eliyae to be very hands on with respect to how his brand is presented to the world.

His new single “Start it Up,” has the flow and feel of todays “Trap&B,” and will definitely accompany everyone’s  Drake and Bryson Tiller playlist. J. Eliyae co-produced Start it Up alongside Mekanics and Smash David which is reflected in the mellow bass and the back to back treble. The lyrics have a relatability factor just like all of his previous records and videos. The song is quite the reflection of who J. Eliyae is and what his style is like: laid back and subtle.
