Cardi B ‘Bodak Yellow’ Dominates Pandora Over the Weekend
Congratulations to Cardi B for topping just about every possible chart with her single Bodak Yellow which I can’t lie, the joint never tires me…and her personality, the entertainer in her, is utterly magnetic. No disrespect, I’m about to say something that relates to powerful women when I say she could be Hip Hop’s Lucille Ball, but with Dezi’s accent and animation. Ball’s presence moved Hollywood for decades, and Cardi B (TW: @iamcardib) shows early signs of having that kind of…oomph!
According to today’s (Sept 25, 2017) RollingStone.com article by Daniel Kreps, Cardi B’s ‘Bodak Yellow’ Lands Historic Number One on Hot 100 , the Love & Hip Hop‘ star becomes first solo female rapper since Lauryn Hill in 1998 to rule Hot 100.
