Jcfw 2017 Presents: Fashion & Freedom: Be Bold, Be Bright, Be Beautiful

Nestled next to Hoboken, and across the Hudson River from Manhattan, Jersey City will come alive with fashion and entertainment for Season 7 of Jersey City’s Fashion Week (JCFW) 2017. This year’s theme is Fashion & Freedom: Be Bold, Be Bright, Be Beautiful. The fashion extravaganza will take place on Thursday, September 28th, 2017 at Maritime Parc, Jersey City at 5:30pm.

Scores of fashion lovers will flock to this extraordinary event to witness couture, artistry, and style from leading fashion names such as Burning Guitars, Tyrone Chablis, Angie Tekoagbo, Tyrell Mason, 3Rd Eye, J Bride Designs, Izhane Dix, Nadu Lawson and Karryn Russo.

For the past six years, Jersey City Fashion Week (JCFW) has become an event synonymous with glitz, glamour, and style. This flagship fashion event provides a platform for many of the Tri-State’s emerging and established designers, models, boutiques, fashion retailers, and entertainers.

This year Jersey City Fashion Week welcomes Fred Bugsy Buggs from 107.5 WBLS as the host of the fashion event and DJ Antoine Qua, also of 107.5 WBLS will be the in-house DJ for the evening. Performing Artist ShoreShot, is headlining the live entertainment. JCFW recently announced their 2017 People of Influence Awardees, Councilwoman Joyce E. Watterman, and DJ Antoine Qua, who will be honored at the event. This year, proceeds from Jersey City Fashion Week will be donated to Easterseals New Jersey, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children and adults with special needs in New Jersey.
