“When I dress an actor as a character for a role, it’s the little details that tell you volumes about their character and that’s why this chance to work with Baby-G was so perfect,” said Salvador Perez, President of the Costume Designers’ Guild. “The brand is known for their bold watches that add an instant ‘wow’ factor to every outfit, exactly the type of accessory I look for when dressing my stars!”
According to Salvador, accessories play a key role in helping your outfit tell your story and exuding your personality and mood. Adding a simple pop of color to jeans and a T-shirt, a little black dress or your workout wear can make all the difference in literally brightening your day. Especially as we head into the summer season when vibrant accessory choices are always in style!
Straight from the set of the new “Pitch Perfect 2” movie, Salvador offers his expert picks and tips on choosing the right wrist-wear this season. Whether looking for the ideal timepiece for yourself with the unofficial start to summer or gifting that special graduate, ‘tis the season for these costume designer-approved picks from Baby-G(www.baby-g.com)!
Salvador says: Purple is my favorite color! This is the perfect watch to add a vibrant pop to any warm weather outfit, like a pair of cutoff denim shorts and a loose tank.
Salvador says: This timepiece is both high tech and elegant. It can go from business to casual – it’s a great everyday watch and a perfect, all-purpose gift for the new graduate. I can see the “Pitch Perfect” co-eds wearing these!
Salvador says: Talk about a great pop of color! The aqua/teal family is one of my favorites for the summertime. This watch will go great with your tan!
Salvador says: Although black is classic, the neon pink accents on this watch makes it less serious and more fun. This timepiece is a wardrobe staple – ideal for
going from day to night in style!
Salvador says: When you can’t make up your mind about what color to wear, a transparent watch is the perfect choice! It matches with any outfit and has a lightweight look that fits with the season – I can picture this style paired with a bathing suit; a pool and beach must-have!
