Live Session: Karina Pasian

Even before Karina was signed by L.A. Reid to Def Jam Records, the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter-pianist was already making quite a name for herself. From her winning performance on Star Search in 2003 to singing at the White House, this New York City chanteuse has been paying her professional dues since she was a toddler. Pasian’s godfather is none other than legendary producer and music industry impresario Quincy Jones, who has also been a driving force — she affectionately refers to him as her “Guardian Angel” — throughout her career. No longer inked to Def Jam, and six plus years removed from her debut solo effort, First Love, Karina Pasian has some really great things in store for early 2015…
