Every so often an artist emerges on the scene of the music industry, making an impact that demands the immediate attention of Hip Hop lovers everywhere. Unique in so many ways, Westside Bronx representative J Parle Parks is a refreshing dose of metaphors, wit, creativity and real life experience.

Parks’ musical resume dates back to 2006 and his dominance on the battle rap scene. Overcoming all competitors he climb the ranks which landed him a spot on BET’s 106 & Park for Freestyle Friday. Known to many as a “Freestyle Friday Legend” his current mission is to cement his name in to the conversation of the hottest MCs in todays game. With his current playlist of songs that is not a tall order, and the reception / support he has been receiving from fans and tastemakers alike is overwhelming.

Working on his highly anticipated EP entitled Hello November Parle Parks sets the pace wonderfully with his Benji Films directed visual for Been Uptown. Taking you on the journey of a normal day on the WESTSIDE Parks substantiates his classification as being the “total package” (ambition, suave personality, unique lyrical ability, and outstanding stage presence).
