R&B icon partners with Kobalt Label Services

Sixteen-time Grammy nominated singer, songwriter and producer Brian McKnight is proud to announce his 13th studio album, Better. The R&B icon has teamed up with Kobalt Label Services (Lenny Kravitz, New Kids On The Block) on the forthcoming project and has released the album’s first single, “Uh Oh Feeling,” across all digital service providers today, August 14th.

“We’ve all had that uh-oh feeling,” McKnight explains. “Where you’re sitting somewhere and suddenly you catch someone staring at you in a certain way from across the room. Then five minutes later you’re thinking… ‘What was that? What does that mean? Should I talk to her?’ It’s that rush you feel in your chest afterwards, that sense of wondering. You don’t know whether they want you, if you should gaze back, or if you should be creeped out. It’s a funny thing and we’ve all been there.”

McKnight is taking it back to basics with the new album – using all real instruments – and “Uh Oh Feeling” delivers that iconic R&B sound that made him a household name decades ago.

Brian McKnight is currently touring select U.S. and International cities and his 13th studio album, Better, will be available for pre-order on October 2nd and is set to be released worldwide in January 2016.
