Courage My Love Touring with Burn Halo, Heartist and More
Courage My Love will be supporting Burn Halo on their upcoming Wolves Of War Tour, along with Heartist and Run 2 Cover, XXI and Against Himself (on select dates). The tour kicks off September 5 in Anaheim, CA and runs through October 8. See dates below.
Front woman Mercedes Arn-Horn says, “We’re so excited to hit the road with Burn Halo and Heartist in the USA. All the bands on this tour and very talented and all the cities we’re hitting up always show us a great time. We’ve been writing and recording at House Of Loud studio with David Bendeth the past few months, and we’re really excited to play some new songs live on this tour. The new album will be finished in December and we expect to launch it early next year. Come hang with us in a city near you if you want a taste of what we’ve been working on!”
The band’s latest effort ‘Becoming’, was re-issued this past spring as a full LP with 6 additional tracks via InVogue Records.
The Kitchener, Ontario-based trio is rounded out by Mercedes’ twin sister Phoenix (drums/vocals) and Brandon Lockwood (bass).
Since being discovered in a local battle of the bands contest, Courage My Love have since cut their teeth and built their audience with fiery live performances. Alternative Press Magazine pegged Courage My Love as one of the top ‘100 Bands You Need to Know’. In 2014, the band was nominated for a JUNO award for ‘Breakthrough Group of the Year’ and played the full 2014 Vans Warped Tour. They started off 2015 on the ‘Stripped Down To The Bone’ acoustic tour with Hawthorne Heights.
