Tupac’s brother Mopreme Shakur details the day Tupac met Madonna

Tupac Shakur is a legend and it seems like every year no matter who is on billboard top 100 list, his name still grabs headlines. Mopreme Shakur sat down with VladTV and when asked about his brother’s relationship with several people in the industy including Janet Jackson , Sway and Madonna. When he was asked about Madonna he opened up and candidly remarked,

“We were doing press for Above The Rimand we were in New York and just like them, I was sitting there while Pac was doing the interview,” he recalled. “Pac, Marlon, they did it together and then Madonna came down and sat right next to me [and asked] ‘When is he finished?’ [I’m like], ‘A little while.”

He then went on to add in more detail exactly what Madonna did and said to connect with the late rapper

“She gave me a note to give to him,” he said. “[I didn’t read it] I was just happy she was giving him a note. Everybody was there, I went and gave it to him. He was about that business and then they linked up and I would take him to our house and shit when we got back to L.A. They were a thing for a minute.”

He also spoke about how the relationship ended

“I just think that they were kicking it. I don’t think it was super serious like they were gonna get married or some sh*t . you know how those entertainment relationships go. They both respected each other so it ended cool. He never talked sh*t about her and she never talked sh*t about him.”
