Who is Jaye Watts?

A sought after international recording artist and published songwriter filled with lofty aspirations and undaunted optimism; Jaye Watts is an industry commodity and mogul in the making.

As a Dallas, Texas native, Jaye’s presence in the music marketplace is armed with a powerful and distinctive international sound. She highlights a fusion of genres including electronic dance music and trap with occasional dubstep elements and a gentler side with soulfully acoustic and soft rock hues. Her debut EP will highlight some of the music industry’s most highly acclaimed and Grammy award winning producers, including but not limited to International K-Pop hit producing sensation Antwann Frost, Syience (Jay-Z & Beyonce’s “Hollywood”) and Young Yonny (Justin Beiber’s “Lolly”). To add insult to injury, her records are masterfully mixed by audio engineer legends Jean-Marie Horvat, Fabrice Dupont and Howie Weinberg. Jaye’s rarely rivaled vocals coupled with her ability to write and compose coveted hit singles for herself and other artists make her the genuine article. A published songwriter with licensed material on HBO, Nickelodeon and Disney, she has perfected the craft of pinning anthemic songs and receiving inquiries from some of the industries hottest recording artists such as Christina Aguilera and Brandy. Jaye’s ability to deliver a song is the reason she has been selected to open in concert for major recording artists like Atlantic Records, Trey Songz and merits phone calls from Clive Davis himself! In additional to her domestic shows, she heralds merit from living legends as the opening act on international tours all over Europe with artists and bands like Sister Sledge, Kool & the Gang and Earth, Wind & Fire, respectively.

Known for being a preacher’s kids twice over and growing up in a strict household where gospel music was the only option for listening pleasure, her musical foundation is predicated on gospel and contemporary Christian music. She attributes her love for beautiful melodies to the songs she sang while in the choir at age 4, and the violin she began playing at age 5. Country music she says, is culpable for her infectious songwriting prowess. “There’s nothing better than making the story unfold” she says of some of her favorite lyrically driven records like “Shaman”.

An entrepreneur and motivational spokesperson, Jaye is a multi-faceted threat to the entertainment industry and world at large. As the Founder & President of Proud Wineaux, LLC., a Specialty Wine Events company based in New York City she has single handedly conducted hundreds of food and wine tastings with thousands of patrons. The noteworthy training program she has instituted for aspiring wine and food enthusiast has received acclaim across various social mediums and continues to receive rave reviews. Since it’s inception, Proud Wineaux has merited attention from and conducted tastings with a number of fortune 500 corporations and companies like American Express, JP Morgan Chase, NBC, The Westin Times Square and Apple, Inc. respectively. As if Corporate America isn’t enough she has been presented with opportunities to develop her own show on major television networks like Bravo & The Food Network. The world is indeed her oyster as she embraces her love for the culinary and wine world, continuing to capture hearts across all platforms.

In addition to her passion for creating music lies an intensity to create change for the generations to come. As a noted volunteer for several youth organizations and founder of her own non-profit, she has been petitioned to speak and motivate hundreds of youth; empowering them to discover their passions and encouraging them to take steps toward fulfilling their dreams.
