Wonder Girls make big return to Billboard Charts with ‘Reboot’ Album

Nearly three years after their hiatus, Wonder Girls make a huge return to the Billboard charts — an area the act is mighty familiar with after “Nobody” became a Hot 100 hit and pioneered the way for Korean artists to make moves in America.Top 10 K-Pop Girl Groups You Need to KnowWith a refreshed lineup that brought original member Sunmi joining Yenny, Lim and Yubin, Wonder Girls’ ’80s-inspired comeback album Reboot starts at No. 2 on Billboard’s World Albums chart and No. 25 on Heatseekers Albums.

Its the outfit’s third appearance on World Albums and their highest mark to date following 2011’s World World (which peaked at No. 5) and 2012’s Wonder PartyEP (No. 9). Meanwhile, its their second time on Heatseekers Albums — a chart most K-pop acts don’t sell enough to bow on — after their English 2 Different TearsEP hit No. 21 in 2010. To date, Wonder Girls have sold almost 19,000 albums in America.
