Beat Connection Premiere “Illusion” Video on Nylon, New Album “Product 3” Out 10/23 on ANTI- Records

Beat Connection have premiered a new music video for the sleek slow burner “Illusion” today via Nylon. The clip was directed by Fernando Vallejo and features the incredible moves of the renowned flex dancer Brixx. Says Nylon, “Brixx’s moves fit perfectly with the electro-pop quartet’s stylish and cathartic tune.”

WATCH BEAT CONNECTION – “ILLUSION”

“Illusion” follows the previously released summer jam “So Good”; both tracks will appear on Beat Connection’s forthcoming new record Product 3, their debut on new label home ANTI- Records. Product 3 will be released on October 23, followed by a headlining tour across North America. Beat Connection will give their hometown a special preview of the new record with a show this Saturday, September 19 at Seattle’s Neptune Theatre.

Praise for “Illusion”:

“Seriously intuitive, irrepressible electro-pop… Skipping through handclaps and synth twinkles, a wild Nile Rodgers-worthy funk guitar solo appears out of nowhere, elevating ‘Illusion’ from mood-brightening synth pop to a full-fledged blaze.” – Stereogum

“An ebullient mix of hard-hitting beats and bouncy synths… ‘Illusion’ is aptly named, providing you with a three minute fantasy that your world is as exuberant and psychedelic as the band’s widescreen soundscapes.” – Spin
