Featherweight Studio Announces New Line of Custom Jackets

Featherweight Studio and designer Krissy Teegerstrom are thrilled to announce a new line of custom jackets.

Teegerstrom designed the distinctive outerwear using a combination of stitching, painting, hand embroidery and vintage embellishments. Each jacket contains unique details and energy, from the focus of arrows to the thousand eyes of intuition.

“While I’m at events, I often wonder how to stand out from the array of vintage finds and latest designer looks,” Teegerstrom said. “My jackets express an energy that’s different. The love, attention and imagination I pour into each piece stays with the person wearing it and makes a unique statement.”

Each jacket is a unique work of art, available in colors ranging from bright purples and reds to classic white and denim. Every jacket includes delicate details that set them apart as an intricately crafted piece of custom outerwear, sure to capture attention in any setting.

“The designs are a talisman that draws people in,” Teegerstrom said. “Perfectly imperfect, personal and inimitable, it’s a connection and a conversation starter.”

Featherweight Studio began in 2012. Since then, Teegerstrom’s designs have been sold around the world, from Los Angeles to London, at stores including Urban Outfitters and events including West Coast Craft, Oakland First Fridays and Black Market SF. She has designed clothing that has appeared on the cover of Billboard magazine and has provided custom designs for bands and brands including Rhett Miller, The Flesh Eaters, Tellason Denim, Solid Gold Boutique and Cobra Rock Boot Company, among others.
