Words and Photos by Tammy Perez (Austin, TX)

Garbage hit Stubb’s in Austin, TX for their 20 Years Queer tour in celebration of their 1995 self-titled, debut album. The band performed the album in its entirety including “Only Happy When It Rains” and “Queer”, proving frontwoman Shirley Mansion’s hauntingly sultry vocals and the band’s broody sound have not only endured but thrived.

Look for their remastered 20th anniversary edition LP scheduled for release in December 2015.
