Living in Okinawa, Japan is a quiet storm bursting onto the rap scene in ways never seen before. Musician “Thatboi Dot” is an emerging rap artist hailing from all over the Midwest of the U.S. He has been making waves in the Japanese industry, already amassing over 17,000 likes to his artist page on Facebook in just over a year. His latest music video “TheyCallMeDot” exemplifies his raw talent for articulation and natural flow to his lyrics and is poised to succeed his previous release, Ready feat. Pyro Pray.

In collaboration with Art Dilla Films, with special guest appearance from Ladies of Stephanie Black Productions, produced by SS on the Drums, and mixed and mastered at Sonic Garage Studios, this new release will keep your iPod on replay, and will have you searching for more of his music. “TheyCallMeDot” is about the growth of his career through the music industry on a one way trip to mainstream Hip Hop. Dot has been on an unstoppable climb through adversity and gaining respect throughout the music community as well as a gaining a healthy following.

The much anticipated music video, as a follow up to several other music videos, is staged to created quite a buzz on the Internet.
