Clara Venice ‘Hotline Hills’ mashup Feat. Moog Theremini

Clara Venice rocks a serious mashup of some Juno Awards nominees’ hottest singles for a special display of digital evolution in the creation of music.

In honour of the Juno Awards this Sunday, electronic pop artist Clara Venice has recorded a mash-up of singles by Juno nominees Drake, The Weeknd and Justin Bieber, using her favourite synths, controllers, and sounds including the Moog Theremini.

The Hotline Hills mash-up includes Hotline Bling by Drake, The Hills by The Weeknd, and Where Are U Now and Love Yourself by Justin Bieber. It was arranged and recorded by Clara Venice in Toronto, Ontario.

Clara Venice is known for creating symphonic, dreamy pop with an array of instruments including Theremin, electric violin, guitar, ukulele and glockenspiel.
Clara Venice has performed around the world, joined the Barenaked Ladies on their 2014 Cross-Canada tour, and has been showcased at The One Man Band Festival, Just for Cats Festival, Word on the Street, NXNE, Spur Festival, IngenuityFest, and Beakerhead. Her debut EP Love Riddle was co-produced by Kevin Hearn (Barenaked Ladies, Lou Reed, Rheostatics) and mixed by Dave Ogilvie (Nine Inch Nails, Skinny Puppy, Carly Rae Jepsen). Her second EP Electric Dream, with four songs featuring seventy-two instruments, was released in October 2015.
