Jason Derulo gets wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hollywood

Firmly established global music sensation Jason Derulo, joins the likes of Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross and more celebrated names than I care to write, as an eternal figure in the entertainment world. World famed Madame Tussauds has announced Derulo as a new exhibit in their Hollywood location.

Madame Tussauds Hollywood today announces that Jason Derulo will be the next star to be immortalized in wax. As a special sneak preview, Madame Tussauds Hollywood is releasing the first look at images and video of its expert team of sculptors and artistscapturing Jason Derulo’s measurements and likeness, as well as selecting the perfect matching hair and eye color for his wax figure.

“It felt incredible when I got the news that I would be immortalized,” shares Jason Derulo in the newly released video from the private session with the Madame Tussauds’ team. “That’s the ultimate level of stardom. I’m like mama, They’re going to make a wax doll out of me and she was like WHAAAT! When I come face-to-face with myself, that’s going to be a very special moment. I have always wanted there to be two me’s and this is finally the opportunity. There will two Derulos! It’s going to be a spectacle!”

The session lasted more than two hours and over 250 measurements were taken. Derulo’s wax figure will capture one of his signature dance moves and is valued at $350,000.

The multi-talented singer/songwriter and So You Think You Can Dance judge will make a special appearance at Madame Tussauds Hollywood on May 19^th for a side by side reveal of the completed figure followed by a special concert for his fans on the rooftop of the attraction.
