Event Recap: Remy Launches Season 2 of ‘Producers Series’

Season two of the Remy Producers Series launched on June 18th at La Marina with the first of their 7-round exclusive producer competition. With special guest features from Super Producer DJ Premier, DJ Reymo and Remy Ambassador Charlamagne Tha God, competing producers were determined to put their beats to the test, but only one would advance to the next level.

Receiving a unanimous vote from a hand-selected panel of judges made up of industry professionals, Newo Tha Kid dominated the stage, slamming his leading competitors Jivinchi and Willie Walters. Newo Tha Kid is the first semi-finalist of season two and will advance to the next level where he will compete against six other semi-finalists for the grand prize.

Throughout the course of the next three months, the Remy Producers Series will take place in three cities- Boston, New York and Philadelphia, but will end with only one winner.

The Remy Producers Series is the only place where aspiring music producers enter in to receive the opportunity of a lifetime to have their material heard by some of the top label executives, super producers, and artists.
