Singer songwriter JaDaya Koray NY’s next R&B flavor

I’ve been checking out the young voice of singer/songwriter JaDaya Koray out of NY. She’s young but something about the feeling she emotes tells me she’s a comer.

R&B singer/songwriter JaDaya Koray is the 16-yr-old daughter of The Banks Brand Music founder Corey L. Banks Sr (aka Corey Drumz) and the latest member of the family to release music.

JaDaya Koray has been singing since the age of 9 and first recorded as one of the I.K.E. Kiddz, a group created by her father which also included her brother Simba. Now at age 16 JaDaya has grown into a bonified R&B powerhouse both as a vocalist & songwriter and is ready to take her turn establishing her name and talents in todays music industry continuing the Banks music legacy.

Her debut single “Promises” is co-written by her and her brother CJ Banks, sang over an instrumental produced by N.Soul and recorded and mixed by the legendary Charlie Marotta who also mixed hit records for EPMD, Redman,  Jodeci and many others as well as building the late great Michael Jackson’s recording studio.

Written by JaDaya Koray Banks & CJ Banks Banks Jr
Instrumental by N.Soul
Recorded at Northshore Soundworks
Mixed by Charlie Marotta
Released by The Banks Brand Music
