Chia lends her soulful vocals to the track produced by Mike WiLL Made-It, leaving Jones thoroughly impressed and excited about the collaboration.

“Her voice is very hypnotic. It puts you in a vibe that’s unexplainable,” says Jones. “For a new artist, it is very refreshing to hear a dope voice that’s not following the trends everyone else is doing.”

Sharing a mutual respect for Jim Jones, Chia remarks, “All love to Mike Will and Jim Jones for making this happen. Such a dope feeling to work with people you listened to growing up. Mike is genius for putting our sounds together. Love these guys.”

Cameroon-born now LA-based Lorine Chia debuted in 2012 with the release of her album “Lorine” to which Complex hails Chia as a, “Very unique voice that reminds many of Amy Winehouse” and deemed her debut effort as a “great listen.” The 405, Billboard and Pigeons And Planes soon followed with their endorsement of Chia’s emergence with “Lorine.” Her artistry has also been recognized by the likes of Wall Street Journal, Essence, and Interview Magazine. Crowned as Cocoa Cola’s ‘Artist of The Week’ 2013, Pitchfork describes Chia as, “Plucked from a different era, but…ultra-contemporary.”

Currently, Lorine is gearing up for the release of her latest EP ”An Intro To Sweet Noise” coming this summer. She recently dropped an acoustic video for her single “Only One” garnering praise from 1883 Magazine, Crave, Saint Heron, and The Fader.
