Photo Recap: Adina Howard and Al B. Sure rock LAX Nightclub in Vegas

Partyers at LAX Nightclub inside Luxor Hotel and Casino were freaks in the morning, freaks in the evening on Thursday, Sept. 22, when Adina Howard and Al B. Sure! took over for a special Throwback. Howard kicked off the night when she performed several hit songs for the amped up crowd, including “Freak Like Me.” Sure!, who served as Throwback Thursday’s special guest host, delivered a set of his classic hits from “Off on Your Own (Girl)” to “Nite and Day.”

R&B bad girl Adina Howard skyrocketed on the charts in 1995 upon the release of her debut album, “Do You Wanna Ride” and its lead single, “Freak Like Me,” which went on to be sampled and covered by notable artists. Other popular hits include “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” with Warren G, “(Freak) And U Know It,” and “Nasty Grind.”

Al B. Sure! is a three-time GRAMMY-nominated artist and producer who released his debut album, “In Effect Mode,” in 1988, which featured the hit single “Nite and Day.” Topping the charts for seven weeks, the record reached number seven on the Billboard Hot 100. Sure! has worked with several industry notables including Quincy Jones, Jodeci, Tevin Campbell, Faith Evans, and more. While pursuing a career in film and on television, Sure! was nominated for several awards and won an American Music Award for Best New R&B Artist.
