Video Premier: 2 Mile Hill ‘Know About Me’

Earlier this summer 2 Mile Hill (@2milehill), the amazing and exciting Barbados-based rap-rock army released Uncovered, its sophomore EP. During its era as NexCyx, the multi-instrumental five-piece crew rocked the stage with some of hip-hop’s biggest names including Wyclef Jean, Damian Marley, Erykah Badu and more. 2 Mile even snagged brand deals with Moet, Hennessy and more before ever touching U.S soil.

Leading up to their USA appearances coming soon, the group dropped a hot visual for what I predict to be an impactful single here, “Know About Me.” Sonically, there’s nothing missing in this joint and the lyrics are on point…great song!

About 2 Mile Hill
The multi-instrumentalists have caught the attention of MTV, Ryan Seacrest, RESPECT Magazine and more; all of which have made it a point to praise both the band’s musicianship and mainstream musicality. One look or listen makes it easy to understand why worldwide brands like Louis Vuitton and Hennessy have recruited the outfit, and why its international fan reach continues to grow exponentially.
André (keyboardist), Chadd (drummer), Kris (bassist), Mahalia (lead vocalist) and Russell (guitarist) landed on the name 2 Mile Hill after reflecting on the undeniable impact their home island has had on their sound and style. As a result, their second EP is nothing short of thematic and noteworthy for longtime and new fans alike.
After performing with some of music’s biggest names, including Wyclef Jean, Erykah Badu, Angie Stone and Damian Marley, it’s hard to grasp that the band’s original form was born out of a trial-and-error college experiment.
2 Mile Hill’s production is precise and performance is passionate. Its bombastic live sets will hit the U.S. soon.
