Editor’s Pick: Joe Budden ‘I Gotta Ask’

101716-music-joe-budden-i-gotta-ask-single-art-2016Joe Budden‘s (@JoeBudden) new joint is amazing…araabMUZIK (@araabMUZIK) punched out a track that really takes it home for #HipHop and then Budden comes in and laces it perfectly…he hit on all cylinders with this one! Broadway should be proud of how the “Into The Woods” sample set the tone and I dig Budden’s #Salute to Jay-Z whose “Hard Knock Life” celebrated the legendary broadway musical “Annie.”

I Gotta Ask is the latest single from Joe Budden’s upcoming solo-albumRage & The Machine, set for release on October 21, 2016, and is now available for pre-order. The sonics for the entire project are handled by the wizard araabMUZIK.

“The beat immediately took me to a very nostalgic place; it just felt good” Joe commented to BET.  “Hopefully, it’ll have that same effect when others hear it; I’d like for that to resonate.”
