Largest Mannequin Challenge in the World: 5000 fans and production crew freeze for 2 minutes

World Record attempt in Stuttgart (Germany) – LIVE woodchopping event with over 5000 people “frozen” for 2 minutes at the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS World Championship!

It’s the new Harlem Shake: the social media phenomenon of the so called Mannequin Challenge is all over the internet at the moment. The social media platforms are being flooded with scenes of people frozen in weird positions. 

The stage and event crew around the athletes of the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS World Championship accepted the challenge brining it to a whole new level: freezing a complete live event including the stage and backstage crew and over 5000 spectators for 2 minutes. And yes, they did it. If it’s a world record is not clear yet, but still: it’s a must-see video.

The best logger sports athletes from twelve countries competed in the World Championship of the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Series in Stuttgart on November 12, 2016. Stuttgart‘s Porsche-Arena was completely sold out – over 5,500 spectators watched the nail-biting World Championship event.
