“Last week Donald Trump was announced President-elect of the United States, and there is no denying that a lot of people are upset, hurt, confused, scared and angry. Revolución – originally written for Pinqy Ring’s Second City performance debut – couldn’t have come at a better time.

The track, crafted by RKL – a young up-and-coming producer and musician from Miami, lays the ground work for the song and carries the call-to-action that is needed today. Pinqy uses her platform to prepare the paleteros, the Chicago bucket boys, our ancestors and so many more… She is chanting and rapping for women, people of color, the undocumented, the disabled, the LGBTQ community, the religiously persecuted and all allies to mobilize and create the future WE want and need.
