Nickelodeon debuts ‘Lip Sync Battle Shorties’ hosted by Sarah Hyland

Lip synch and Karaoke have exploded back in a massive way, led of course by Spike’s Lip Synch Battle hosted by LL Cool J and his cover model co-host Chrissy Teigen. With the debut of the Shorties version by Nickelodeon, I’m thinking multi-level win. Future creatives can launch right into stage presence training while bringing some family and friends fun time into the process.

Kids give it their all in the highly anticipated one hour-special, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, set to premiere Sunday, Dec. 11, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. Hosted by multitalented Modern Familyactress Sarah Hyland, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, a spinoff of Spike’s Emmy-nominated global phenomenon, will feature everyday kids lip syncing their favorite songs and celebrating their favorite artists. The spinoff also features the Lip Sync Battle Shorties Dance Crew, a DJ, M.C. and backstage correspondent – all of whom are kids, just like the show’s four performers. The special will also air on Spike on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT).
