Lady Gaga Super Bowl performance boosts her Pandora station and scores world tour
Super Bowl 51 was akin to a superbly written drama on the big screen, full of amazing displays of skill from both sides. Of course, like any great drama, you just never know how it’s going to end…what an amazing finish! I confess to counting the Patriots out in about third quarter…silly me.
What I and millions around the world DID know was that Lady Gaga on the half-time bill would bring something extraordinary. Whether YOU liked her show or not, the numbers don’t lie and neither does the reaction from the industry…check this out:
Pandora data shows that stemming from her performance during the Super Bowl 51 half time show, Lady Gaga’s Pandora station adds spiked on Pandora almost 1,400% (week over week). Over 24 thousand Pandora listeners added her station to their account on Sunday alone.
