Rick Ross vs. Birdman: What Turk has to Say
“Idols become Rivals” has been the talk of the industry for the past few days. In this track, Rick Ross takes shots at Birdman in reference to how he works with people and never pays them all that is owed to them. From Lil Wayne, to DJ Khaled, to the Original Hot Beezy, Hot Boy Turk, Ross airs out all the dirty laundry.
After listening to the song, I wanted to know what the aftermath was. It didn’t take too long before Weezy chose to Thank Ross for making the track .

This lead me to wonder, what was Turk’s take on the matter. I personally reached out to the YNT CEO to get his take on the matter. In speaking with Hot Boy Turk, he made it clear that he wanted no parts of the hoopla.
During the 5:41 track Ross references the all too familiar matter of Birdman owing Turk money. Ross states, “Knew that you would never visit B.G, Turk came home, take that boy a three piece.” Naturally, I needed to understand the 3 piece reference. I called one of my inside sources and discussed the matter with them. The source explained that the three piece reference is a metaphor for money. They elaborated that in the rap game one would say “we eating together” which implies that the team is ‘getting money’ together. Thus allowing for a ‘3 piece’ to be a representation of a monetary amount.

In any case, as we look at this from a business perspective, I see the power of silence as Hot Boy Turk is choosing to stay quiet during this musical storm.
