Post Malone “Stoney” Certified Platinum

Adding to its ever-growing list of accomplishments, Post Malone’s full-length debut album, Stoney [Republic Records], is now certified platinum by the RIAA for sales in excess of 1 million copies. This stands out as another milestone for the multiplatinum chart-topping Dallas, TX artist as his breakout single “White Iverson” also reaches the four-time platinum benchmark.

Globally, the songs from Stoney have cumulatively generated over 1 billion streams and counting. The record continues to dominate the streaming landscape, remaining among the “Top 10 Streaming Albums for 18 Consecutive Weeks” since its December 2016 release. Its latest single, the platinum certified “Congratulations” feat. Quavo (produced by Metro Boomin & Frank Dukes) continues to hold strong on multiple charts, reaching #25 on Billboard’s Hot 100, #13 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart, and #7 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Chart. Post Malone celebrated on Late Night with Seth Meyers with a powerhouse performance of the track joined by Quavo and super producer Metro Boomin’. “Congratulations” quickly vaulted to the Top 10 of iTunes Overall Chart while the video hit #1 on VEVO’s Top 20 US Weekly Video Chart as well. Right now, it’s holding strong in the Top 10 of Rhythm Radio.

Simultaneously, Stoney remains a mainstay in the Top 15 of the Billboard Top 200, clutching #14 this week. Post hosted a private party at Coachella to celebrate the record’s platinum certification.
