Live Session with painter/artist Tonia Calderon
Tonia Calderon (@ToniaCalderon) is an amazing painter who is breaking new ground in the art world. Calderon is a Mexican-Dutch-Indonesian painter and designer based in Los Angeles. She is best known for known for her music inspired “Black&Gold” series; paintings of icons with lyrics written through hand painted images. She has created pieces for many music industry art collectors including Alicia Keys, Dr. Dre, Sean “Diddy” Combs and many more.
Her work is featured at the Tupac Afeni Shakur Museum in Atlanta, Georgia and the National Museum of Contemporary Art in San Francisco, CA. You can also find her artwork hanging on the walls of top recording studios including Interscope, Epic and Def Jam.
