Quincy D. Jones III talks new Netflix documentary

The Hype Magazine “Live Session” with 40x platinum recording producer, Quincy D. Jones III (@QD3), and narrator of the new Feel Rich Inc. documentary, Feel Rich: Health Is The New Wealth, which is set to premiere on Netflix on Tuesday, May 23rd. The documentary features iconic Hip Hop legends, uniting to discuss the Urban Health Movement.

QD3 taught me some *ish during this conversation as he explained the larger vision for the documentary; reexamination of the beginnings for some popular health activities like Yoga, exploring the cost effectiveness of a Vegan diet and some other quite interesting asides. More than a diet, it’s a lifestyle change, thought process change and way of treating yourself to a longer healthier life.

Here’s the official line on the documentary

Feel Rich: Health Is The New Wealth boasts interviews with Phife Dawg, Common, The Game, Crystal Wall, Paul Wall, Fat Joe, Russell Simmons, Stic.Man, Afya Ibomu, Jermaine Dupri, Slim Thug, and Styles P. The film is executive produced by Quincy Jones and directed by Peter Spirer.

Narrated by Quincy Jones III, the film features interviews with iconic artists, producers, urban farmers and meditators who have made dramatic changes in their lives by opening themselves up to new ideas about what it means to be rich. The goal is to bring awareness to the “global health crisis in urban communities by offering a backstage pass into the hearts and minds of the Hip Hop elite.
