DJ K Yung is The Fresh Princess of Belaire
For decades beverage endorsement deals were primarily given to male DJs. Just the thought of a female DJ securing an endorsement deal with a national beverage company was something simply unheard of.
But South Korean born DJ K Yung, did just that!
Meet DJ K Yung. K Yung is one of the few Female DJs selected to enter into the exclusive “Black Bottle Girls” DJ Program, a division of the highly popular and successful “Black Bottle Boys” presented by Belaire Champagne.
DJ K Yung is a Hip-Hop DJ whose love for music developed during her earlier years growing up in the Midwest. Although she comes from a small market, she is definitely no stranger to the art of a hustle. And she did whatever she needed to do to grab the attention national radio shows , media outlets, DJ coalitions and of course Corporate Brands.
“90% of DJing is business and 10% is the actual talent,” believes K Yung. “As a DJ in today’s entertainment industry you have to have an influential and solid brand that will attract corporate brands as well as sell tickets at a venue.”
DJ K Yung also co-owns a radio station, flood93radio.com in an effort to provide artists and DJs with another platform to showcase their music and mixes.
