Nav To Join The Weeknd On Phase 2 Of The “Starboy: Legend Of The Fall” World Tour

After surprising his quickly-growing fan base during a round of sold-out shows last week with The Weeknd, it has been announced that rapper and producer NAV will join the second leg of the “Starboy: Legend of the Fall” tour. Set to kick off in University Park, PA on September 6th, NAV will join The Weeknd on dates throughout the United States, Canada, New Zealand and Australia, concluding on December 14th in Perth, Australia. Gucci Mane is set to join the duo on all U.S. dates, while French Montana will join on all Canadian/New Zealand/Australian dates. Ticket information can be found at www.ticketmaster.com.

After making an explosive live debut with his first-ever show at Toronto’s own Mod Club earlier this Spring, NAV has quickly made a name for himself as an in-demand performer. Alongside his sold-out debut show at the Mod Club, NAV also quickly sold out The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA earlier this Spring. Additionally, he packed the Gobi Tent past capacity both weekends at this year’s Coachella, his first festival performance, which Rolling Stone called one of the “25 Best Things” they saw at the festival. The upcoming tour with The Weeknd will be NAV’s first proper tour.

Up next, NAV is gearing up to release his collaborative album with Metro Boomin, titled Perfect Timing. The project, fully produced by NAV and Metro, is set for release on XO/Republic Records later this summer.

As 2017’s true artist to watch, NAV has quickly made a colossal amount of noise while preferring to let his music do all the talking, shattering all rules and molds along the way. After bursting onto the scene in 2015, NAV’s music, mostly self-produced, has ranked in over 150 million plays on his SoundCloud page. NAV’s self-titled debut mixtape, released earlier this year, quickly mirrored the success and enthusiasm of his previous self-released music. With over 42.7 million times on Apple Music, it debuted at #5 on the overall album chart on day of release earlier this year. The project, which features the single “Some Way” featuring The Weeknd and viral hit “Myself” has received attention from the likes of XXL, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, The FADER, Complex, Billboard and more. Already having established himself as a go-to producer, NAV has become a disruptive voice in the industry. His fan-favorite collaboration with Travis Scott, “Biebs in the Trap,” which NAV produced, has been was certified gold for sales of over 500,000 by the RIAA, while his co-production of Drake’s “Back to Back” earned a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rap Performance. With more music on the way, both collaborative and solo, NAV is quickly becoming one of the most in-demand new artists on the scene today.
