VICELAND’s first fully scripted comedy series, What Would Diplo Do? a loving send-up of the electronic dance music scene. Described as a hybrid of Louie and World Star Hip Hop crossed with This Is Spinal Tap, James Van Der Beek plays a fictional edition of international DJ superstar Diplo in a show about life as seen through the eyes of a guy who can bring 60,000 people to their feet… but kind of sucks one-on-one.
What Would Diplo Do? is executive produced by Van Der Beek and Diplo, TMWRK’s Kevin Kusatsu and Brandon Dermer, who also directs. Content Studio Matador also produces the series with Jay Peterson, Todd Lubin and Jack Turner serving as executive producers.
