Giving Back And Enjoying Yourself Goes Hand In Hand
“It’s a great feeling to be able to do this again,” says James.
It’s always a beautiful thing when celebrities care about the youth and communities in need, and Mr. AGE, Trinidad James is no stranger to giving back. This past weekend he hosted his 3rd Annual Camp James Celebrity Basketball Game and the Crenshaw Rams Football Camp, founded by Big U, at Crenshaw High School. James coached Camp James, and Hollywood promoter Marques Diamond, coached the undefeated Crenshaw team. Trinidad James collected thousands of donated new and used shoes and continues to give back to the local students and families in need.
James didn’t share the wealth alone. He had a few celebrity friends come through to help him handout 200+ gift bags given to the youth, as well play in the basketball game. People like LA Rapper AD, Golden State Warriors Draymond Green, Rapper and All Eyez On Me Rapper Eastwood, Najee De-Tiege (known for his role as a Blue Power Ranger, TMZ Correspondent Raquel Harper, Battle Rapper Arsonal Da Rebel, and others. The music was taken care of by the talented DJ Looney.
Other activities were also available to the community as well such as, food truck vendors, bounce houses, and go kart racing. The kids in attendance were gifted with Jordan’s and goodies from the sponsors (Jason Mark and Under Armour). All proceeds were given to My Friends House LA.
