All Def Digital and Dormtainment release ‘Snap!’ on Youtube Red
A few days ago (July 5), All Def Digital (@AllDefDigital) and Dormtainment (@Dormtainment) debuted SNAP!, a half-hour comedy special exclusively for YouTube Red and I have to say it’s absolutely cerebral hilarity…metaphors abound and truthfully, it was hard to keep my ceremonial composure, watching the debut episode. I hadn’t laughed that hard in quite some time…it’s a different kind of laugh when the comedy has depth and isn’t really dependent on a punch line, per se. Sometimes throughout the show, there were those delayed laughs that come from deciphering some *ish.

SNAP! centers on the hottest Atlanta snap rap group of 2006, Stacks-4-Daze — except that was in 2006. Now, the group members are all broke, working dead end jobs in Los Angeles. But when a video of them accidentally goes viral on Worldstar, they get a second chance at fame. Can they bring the stacks back?
SNAP! is created and written by Dormtainment (Amanuel Richards, Cameron Miller, Chaz Miller, Mike Damn & Stevie Green), one of the most popular sketch comedy troupes on YouTube with over 1 million subscribers. The comedic team previously released a premium digital series for Comedy Central, “Six Guys One Car.” Dormtainment consistently sells out live performances of their unique comedy show, and also releases a weekly podcast called Comedy Trap House on iTunes.
