New Music: Money Man Secret Society

Trapped into a pool of talent with past collaborations from Young Thug and Shy Glizzy now Jefe.  Money Man  @bcmoneyman86 heavily relies on his solo rhymes;  Money Man shows he’s a genuine talent.  Formerly CEO of Black Circle Ent., He’s now affiliated to Cash Money Records, and slotted to blow up in 2017. Money Man is an Atlanta recording artist who releases fourth mix-tape, Secret Society, last week. This streetwise trapper perspective provides tales of lust for the life. The formerly Konvict Musik, rap artist, uses a future like melody and semi-tuned, grafted sound to bring his rhymes to life. Hit track, “How It Feel” is a live concept,  Money Man keeps the theme of moving product and designer things. Although he is more believable than Future.  This is a new wave of Atlanta music. Often time’s money can be a drug to rappers. Money Man totes bars about his boss status. Black Circle is a dated painting about space and perception. An aspect of realism, that adapted; and his music is real grit and representative of his brand. His last mix-tapes were Black Circle Friday followed by Black Circle 2 released in February of this year,

Intro track, “Secret Society,” drops booth bars with a hard-hitting tempo.  Other notable tracks include “Negativity,” “From The Jump,” and “Boston George.”  Boston George or George Jung was the basis for the movie, Blow. A member of the Medellin Cartel which flooded the U.S. market in the 80’s. Rappers are known to correlate infamous gangsters into their music.  As the scale tips, Money Man independently takes extreme measures to survive, and the verses mirror the life. The entrepreneur produced a mix-tape that keeps street rap authentic. These gritty tales of money, product, and women are accompanied by big bass lines. While the Atlanta rap scene is evolving with more industry respect, it’s still the Dirty, Dirty South.  These hooks are smooth enough to lighten the load of the lyrical content.  This is the new wave of production all trappers can appreciate.

Money Man stands alone, as a contemporary solo rapper.  He recently dropped a visual  “Style On Me” featuring Birdman, which amazingly, did not appear on this mix-tape.  Suggesting Money Man, may have an extensive catalogue as he prepares to release more studio heat from the region in 2017.  This may be the year of official Black Circle entertainment.
