“MICHUUL.” (produced by Alexander Spit) illuminates @DUCKWRTH’s funk infused hip-hop within artfully crafted bars. It fittingly sets the stage for his follow up release, “AN XTRA UUGLY MIXTAPE”—dropping late September. The project takes hip-hop to a whole new world altogether. From the jagged distorted guitar and ironclad bars of the intro track “XTRA” to the wild flavor of “TAMAGOTCHI,” DUCKWRTH sparks up one unshakable anthem after another. At the same time, his introspection and soulful delivery define the orchestral haze of closer “HELLO GOD” featuring electronic producer/DJ, Louis Futon, illuminating another side of his spirit.
