On this episode, we received an Exclusive interview with the Legendary DJ/Producer – DJ Premier at The Kennedy Center for the Hip Hop Culture: Words, Beats & Life Festival. DJ Premier presented a special tribute set to honor the late MC Guru, as part of Words, Beats & Life’s Teach-in event Remixing the Art of Social Change: A Hip Hop Approach.

We were honored that he sit down with us for an exclusive interview in between sound checks. We discussed how he met Guru, the creative process of working with Jay-Z and Nas, why he cut Notorious B.I.G. a deal on the record “Unbelievable” and much more. Of course the Legendary DJ Gneous kept us entertained on the 1’s and 2’s and shared his experience meeting DJ Premier. This is a interview we will always treasure. RIP Guru & Biggie.
