The Breakfast Club’s DJ Envy and Streetz 94.5FM’s DJ Holiday host Spinfire App launch in Atlanta

Spinfire Inc., Streettalk Promo and ATL Events held the official Spinfire App launch party Tuesday, August 29th at Josephine Lounge in Atlanta. The Breakfast Club’s DJ Envy, Streetz 94.5’s DJ Holiday and Streettalk Promo’s PBrownLive hosted the event. The star-studded affair featured sets from the Coalition DJ’s DJ Funky, I Love My Plug’s DJ Kuttthroat, Southern Plug DJ’s DJ JayT and the Commission’s DJ Ant Durty as well as DJ Envy himself.

The Spinfire App is a new music promotion application that connects recording artists with DJs to break their music in clubs across the country. This innovative form of music marketing ensures that DJs get paid and that artists get played.

“The fact that a rapper could get up close and personal with a DJ, it’s like straight [from] consumer to the DJ which is dope, now all the artists [have] to do is put out some dope music. I think it’s a dope app and I look forward to using it,” DJ Envy of the nationally syndicated The Breakfast Club morning show said.

Spinfire grants artists access to club DJs, local and nationwide, to promote their music and get exposure in the hottest club venues that they choose. The app is user-friendly and easy to navigate. Artists search for DJs by name, city, or club, make an in-app purchase and submit “Spin Requests” to that DJ. Once the artists single is played, the DJ delivers “Proof of Play”, which is an in-app video of the artist’s song being played in that venue to a live crowd.

The application received praise and nods of support from a variety of industry heavy hitters in attendance from DJs like DJ Pressure to industry vets like Pastor Troy.

“I’m excited about everything changing the culture. K Camp approve it,” rapper K Camp said in reference to Spinfire evolving how music is consumed and promoted.

The Spinfire App Atlanta launch party was hosted by the Breakfast Club’s DJ Envy, Streetz 94.5’s DJ Holiday and Streettalk Promo’s PBrownLive. The star-studded affair featured sets from DJ Funky, DJ Kuttthroat, DJ JayT and the Commission’s DJ Ant Durty.
