Rising Star Asian Doll discusses Wanting to Make Music With Nicki Minaj and More

Asian Doll (@AsianDaDoll) is a rising sensation out of Dallas Texas. She had the pleasure to work with several mainstream artists such as Chief Keef and PnB Rock. The Dallas based artist had already released several projects such as Project Princess Vol 1 and Kill Bill Vol 1.

The Hype Magazine had the opportunity to speak with Asian Doll and discussed how she wants to use her platform to influence the public. in addition, she talks about her plans heading into the first quarter of 2018. How would you like to use your platform to influence the public?

I would like to use my platform to help influence young girls out there to follow their dreams no matter what anyone may tell you. Keep pushing forward and you will only get out what you put in.

Being that you are from Dallas TX what does that mean to you?

It means a lot because Dallas is where I am from and has helped mold me into the person I am today.

Where did you get your inspiration to create Kill Bill Vo1?

I obtained my inspiration from where I have come from and what I’ve had to endure as an individual. As an artist, I can express that through my music and it allowed me to create a project that reflected that

What can we expect from you headed into the first quarter of 2018?

You can expect more music and visuals from me to be released heading into the beginning of next year. I also plan on coming out with another project that is the total opposite of Kill Bill Vol 1.

Is there any artist that you are looking to get into the studio with?

I would like to work with Travis Scott since he from Houston and this would be the perfect time to get into the studio and to show Dallas is behind Houston 100 percent. Nicki Minaj is someone that I would like to work with because she has been an idol of mine growing up.

Who are some of the other artists in Dallas we should be looking out for?

I want to give a shout out to all the artists in Dallas Texas. I think that Go YaYo is Dope!!

Do have a plan to release your own merch?

Yes, I have plans to release my own line of merch in the future. I am not a t-shirt just jeans type of girl I like to step outfitted and dressed to impress and I recently attended fashion week to see what designs spark my creative juices.

What some of your ambitions you like accomplish outside of the entertainment business?

Right now, I want to obtain my driver’s license with my busy schedule I have not been able to find the time get my license. So, this is at the top of my list of what I want to achieve outside of the entertainment business.

What advice would you give to aspiring arts out there?

You must keep grinding and follow your dreams never give up. Please do not let anyone tell you that you’re not built for the journey. I promise you it going to be hard times but perseverance and determination will lead you to where you want to be.
