Asher Roth Returns with LA Freestyle

Asher Roth returns with a new freestyle to Kanye West track, “No More Parties in LA.”  Asher Roth has been active since 2009 hit single, “I Love College.”  This single spiked interest in the then college student.  Now a full-time emcee he has been active in the hip hop underground.  The Pennsylvania native has rapped alongside artist like Vic Mensa, Chuck Inglish, Action Bronson, and Casey Veggies.  Mostly plagued by a small buzz from an independent Philly crowd, Roth is currently signed to Def Jam, no doubt his 2017 album Red Hot Revival is still on the table.  A brief history of the artist includes the popular Smoke Dza track “Marley & Me,” a track on EA Sports Madden video game in 2011, and an notable appearance in RAW papers annual cypher in 2014.  In the recent freestyle the emcee flows like a cool breeze with his relaxed cadences, and diverse bars.  The mellow flows and blunt honesty of the suburban emcee is a rare quality.  Often forgotten, Roth has the skills and wordplay to make a dent in rap music.  While mix-tapes like the, Don Cannon and DJ Drama produced. GreenHouse Affect, both Volumes 1 & 2, may be underground gems. Asher Roth has ultimately been forgotten.  Amazingly, when the hype died,  he actually grew into a seasoned rapper.  The onslaught of rhymes he produces in this freestyle are intuitive.  Judge for yourself, do you believe the hype?
