Childish Gambino’s “Redbone” is Certified Triple Platinum in the U.S.!

Two-time Grammy nominee Childish Gambino’s ‘Redbone’ is certified Triple Platinum in the U.S. by the RIAA. The lead single off of Gambino’s certified Gold #1 R&B album “Awaken, My Love!” is being played across seven U.S. radio formats and has reached 2 billion in total radio audience. The track, which has become a cultural phenomenon and was #10 on Spotify’s top 30 songs of the summer in the U.S., has achieved #1 at Rhythmic Radio, #1 at Urban AC (11 weeks), #4 at Urban and #13 at Top 40 Radio. With new single ‘Terrified’ launching at Urban AC, “Awaken, My Love!” continues to be one of 2017’s most seminal records.

Beginning with PHAROS in 2016, Gambino has performed a handful of draw-dropping sets over the course of the year, including a headline slot at Governors Ball and more recently at Radio City as part of Dave Chappelle’s August residency. Consistent with each Childish Gambino album, “Awaken, My Love!” pushed creative boundaries with its music and imagery.
